This Sony does exactly what it says on the tin. Superb HD picture quality and decent sound too. Easy to navigate PS3 like menu system got me up and running in minutes. Works well with the Sony 350 Blu Ray player too. Recommended.

Great TV. Got my last 32 inch LCD from here 3 years ago but got my latest 40 inch 6 series for 799 from my local Curry's store.....cant fault that and I just picked it up myself so no hanging around for delivery..

I know that there are a few derogative reviews regarding the sound on this TV but in fairness I have just bought one of these and at £199 it is a great little set for my bedroom – I have no problems with it. In fact I think it is super. Also, thank you Tom for the speedy delivery - as promised.

This is a fantastic speaker for your ipod, mobile phone or MP3 player. It sound like a real quality Hi-Fi unit yet its real small. Also the price here is almost £70 less than anywhere else. Great service and fast delivery. You will not be dissapointed.

I am very pleased with the sales and after sales service provided by "theflatTV"
I wanted a new TV to watch the Ryder Cup on Friday 19/9/2008 but had left it very late to order.
On Monday 15/9 I searched the internet and found that "theflatTV" sold the model I wanted , LG LCD 47" 5000 series, at a competetive price.
I rang them before purchasing to see if they could deliver in time for 19/9.
"theflatTV" commited to a date of Wednesday 17/9, 5 days quicker than their delivery guidelines, and the TV was duly delivered at no extra cost.
However one item ordered had not been delivered. I contacted "theflatTV" on the morning of Thursday 18/9 and by the time I got home from work the item had been delivered.
The TV itself was delivered in perfect condition and once installed provided everything taht was expected from ease of installation to clarity of picture.
All in all "theflatTV" provided a service that was better than expected, met all of the expectations they set me and provided

Ordered the TV on a Tuesday received it the following Monday. Had good prompt feedback from Tom to any questions raised and would definately use again. I bought an LG 42PG6900 Plasma tv and its a cracker a superb picture. You need to modify your advert as it doesn't say anything about the 160gb hard drive which is a great selling point!

A nice and compact Tv which at first was awkward to setup but with persistance I managed. The stand is a little basic as you can't tilt the unit to get the best out of the already poor mid-range sound. The speakers are very close together in the front bottom panel and so little stereo seperation is witnessed. If you were a 'Live' Sports fan and want to listen to a louder volume to be part of the action then the trebble and bass tones are not enough. There is a clear voice adjustment which does what it says but not an equalizer to reduce the flat mid section that makes it sound like a concrete cone. Colour has an excellent range of tones to adjust it to how you really want it to look.
I hope the next 'over the air' upgrade will include atleast an 8 band graphic equallizer for the sound adjustment so you can have the ability to control the sound as well as you can the colour.
PROS
Excellent looker, light in weight and a superb picture.
CON
Very poor control of the sound.

Having just unpacked goods I am ecstatic with the purchase. It is the cheapest of its kind I could find. It has all the features I need and sits neatly in our Kitchen, providing good quality sound - although 6W RMS would not be powerful enough for a Disco, it is ample for a Dinner party!
The Door mechanism for the CD player is sleek and overcomes other Panasonic micro systems' problems where clearance is required in front of the machine.

This LCD TV looks very promising, however, I've been waiting for the release since its introduction on the LG Website way back at the end of March 2008. Still waiting, I have also called LG Customer Services, they are reluctant to tell me when it will be released. I'm very suprised that a big corporate company like LG has made a complete mess releasing this product, maybe it doesn't exist yet, still in production, or even the drawing board, I reckon they pretended to released the 19LG3010 when they knew forewell it wouldn't be ready because they don't want they're competitors like Samsung to steal their limelight away with their new models due for release.
I may well have a look at the new range of Samsungs 19" size. After all they share components with LG supposedly and at least they will have the tv ready for purchase. If LG new it would take this long they should apologise and state when it will be available once and for all, otherwise you get the impression don't buy LG products

i got my lg 37lg5000 two days ago and it great , the 1080p/24p on blu ray is unbelivable it looks almost real .
the fact the speakers are hidden is good as well before this i had a 32" hd ready tv and the difrance is ubeliveable
playing games on the ps3 with this tv makes then worth playing again gat 5 is astonishing so is mgs 4
i would highley recomaned this tv cost £850 from argos and only £549 from the flat tv company this is were
i got mine and thay could not be any more help full.
so if you want a full hd tv this is the one i would recomend.

I agree with the comments above, I have have just purchased the TV and noticed straight away on digital reception the sound is very tinny and mono. I tried to adjust the sound settings but on digital reception you only have the option of LR, RR and LL, which I understand are mono settings.
I have returned the TV straight away and obtain a full refund.

I have not recieved the product ordered yet so this is not a review of the product but review of the compnay, FlatTV.
My first contact with the company was by telephone when I needed specific techincal specifications about a televison. The gentleman that I spoke to was very helpful indeed. In fact, he put me on hold while he called the manufacturer to find an answer to my question. For that brilliant customer care I decided to order from FlatTV. I ordered it an immediately recieved an email saying the order was processed. Then an email that the product had been dispatched. it was really fast. I have had this experience on two separate occasions. There was an issue with the carriage costs because I live in the Channel Islands. However, the company immediately responded to me by email and rectified the charge immediately. I was really pleased and totally satisfied with the service. I would recommend FlatTV to anyone. I saw this at a dealer event in Docklands, side-by-side with an LCD screen. The claimed brightness specification of the Panasonic 103" is 1000cd/m2, this is far from the truth! It was nowhere near as bright as the LCD panel. LCD panel spec was 450 cd/m2, as most are. I estimate the brightness of the Panasonic 103" at no more that 150 cd/m2.

I bought this television yesterday and I am really disappointed in the sound quality. It is tinny and painful to listen to - there is definitely a serious design fault. I have other items from JVC that work fine but I will never buy from them again. If the previous reveiwer is right about the fact that adding speakers won't resolve the problem then it is probably not useable in the long run. Very very disappointed - do not buy this set. I am surprised that more people have not reviewed.

Having ploughed through the massive selection of LCD TV's that are now on offer, often with so little difference in the spec that you would be hard pushed to see or hear any variation, i finally settled on the 32LG3000. The spec looked good and as i also needed a PC input, which is not always available, it fitted the bill. I have only just started to use the set but was immediatly taken by the good crisp picture quality and the neatness of the set. I'm not oversure at the moment about the trend for shiny black as the set colour and i'm sure it will be a nightmare for fingermarks, but this now seems to be the "latest" colour. The menu system is easily enough used and has plenty of scope for fine tuning, although once it's set up i think i'll leave alone. The manual on CD is a good idea and provides more than enough information for even the most techno minded. I'm looking forward to many hours of pleasant viewing and so far am not disappointed.

32 lg 6000 - scarlet
following non availabilty of original choice, alternative tv was suggested and I choose 32LG6000. The tv is fab, looks a million dollars, very stylish and importantly sound and picture are top drawer. This is a lot of tv for not a lot of money and really does the business - Overall great communication, fast delivery and tv is superb - great price !!! thanks................

Very disappointed with this TV. I haven't read any other reviews on this yet and I'm surprised I haven't...
Although the picture is ok for an LCD tv, it has a really clunky, badly thought out menu system and dreadful audio.
How did this ever make it into production?
With regards to the sound, I tried to get around the whole problem by connecting my own speakers through my amplifier. If you do this you will finding that there is no way of turning the sound down on the tv without reducing the sound going through the amp or getting a huge mute symbol on your tv. This is a huge design flaw that I would never expect from JVC. I'm so disappointed. I've spoken to their customer support and they said they have heard this complaint about the sound from other customers. The were completely confused when it came to finding a remedy for it.

Well the TV arrived today and I have to say its SPECTACULAR.
Bit of a pain in that it doesn't come with the pedestal stand pre-attached especially as I was chomping at the bit to check it out! But that aside the setup is simple and the PQ on all feeds is superb.
I had an LCD tv prior to this and recently returned the award winning Panasonic LZD85 as it was abysmal for watching sport . This tv has great settings straight out of the box and the tweaking ability more than satisfies me which is another area where the Panasonic left me cold (I mean why not have numerical values for your settings-crazy Panny loons). The on screen menu is simplicity itself and the remote control is far superior in terms of quality and function to the aforementioned Panny. (plus it works wherever in the room I point it whereas the panny has a limited field of remote function which annoyed the Hell out of me)

This TV is amazing. I have it in my bedroom and I can tell you there is nothing better to do before you go to bed but watch this beauty.
Communication could have been better when ordering. I had to call the company to find out that Samsung is late with delivery even if it says in stock. But the guys delivered my TV on the 6th working day by themselves - Thank you.
Mine has got a small little crack in left bottom corner. You have to know about it to see it but nothing major. I have one dead pixel on the bottom of the screen.
Some more pluses: this TV has got everything you need and works like Swiss clock. I connected my PC, BluRay and Xbox360 all with HDMI cables and what a picture!!!! You can set any device you want and this SAMSUNG will eat it for breakfast.
I am giving 100% to this product for its beauty, power and easy setup.

We are very pleased with our new Digital TV with built in DVD, which we bought for our kitchen/diner. There isn't a huge choice of models/makes for this particular screen size, but the portable LCD TV reports provided by Which Online seemed to suggest that this would be the best model to go for. The quality seems good and we have got used to the remote control. It is much better to have one remote and less wires than was the case when we had separate TV, set top box and dvd player. We will certainly recommend the Flat TV Company to our friends and family - the price was certainly right for this product!

Searched for a Super VHS recorder / player. Ordered on Wed and received it on Friday. Excellent service, and the picture quality playing 10 year old Super VHS tapes is excellent. Very good and through manual although it all seems very complicated to start with, within half an hour it was up and running and it is proving very easy to use.

I bought my son this model for his 18th birthday and the LCD screen went after 2 months. What makes things worse I had to pay over £32.00 to get it collected for repair because Sony dictate to their repair centres that anything under a 32" screen is a portable TV.
What Sony expect their customers who don't drive to do is beyond me especially if one happened to be disabled or ambulant, the thought of a pensioner carrying a 26" flat screened TV on the bus 35 miles is a non starter. I will never own another Sony product even if they were giving them away free.

I am about to purchase this set, probably from the flat tv company, the website is the most informative regarding all issues, but mostly the cost/installation process offered regarding options of sat 1 or sat 2. Hello,
I m owner of this TV from about 5 months and it always shines and images continue again and again to impress me.
I have also a 32" samsung bought 2 years ago and the new 40" is nothing the same ! Contrast is enormously better,
grey and colour shades are perfect, nothing bad to say on this tv, it s perfect, Samsung really progresses !
I hope the progression will continue for my next TV in 2 years ;-)

We bought one of these [LG DVD/Video Recorder RC278] from Argos [UK].
First off the video bit. Put simply, it's crap.... there's no search as in proper videos that can search for the start of new recording sessions. Nope, none of that. You can fast forward during review {playback] but that's at one speed. Other than that, it has all the normal play, FF, rewind, pause, buttons.
Now the biggee bad thing is the auto-tracking it has. Press play and it spends the next minute 'auto-tracking' to get the best playback which it generally does OK, this from a normal average guy... [I suppose the high-requiremnt punters won't be buying this unit anyway?] And if that isn't bad enough, it will sometimes auto-track the same tape even when you've just fast-forwardedthru the adverts during taped TV! In short, the video parts a flipping bxllache of the highest magnitude.
So to the DVD part: That's pretty good though I'll admit it's success rate is about 70%. Why does it makes 'coasters' out of

I was in the market for a small hifi system and after doing hours of research I decided upon the ultra stylish LG FA162, I am always buying online and consider to have a good working knowledge of the cheapest suppliers for most items, I was surprised to see that the FlatTV company were literally £16.00 cheaper than a supplier I would of normally chosen.
I have yet to receive the item but I have been updated continually on the progress of my order which is first class, considering most companies do not bother these days.

Received TV as informed. Very easy to install and set up. Picture quality is amazing especially when connected to sky. Remote control is very easy to use. I would have no hesitation in recommending this to anyone as I already have to a friend who has watched it with me.

Never in 30 years of retail have I come across service like this before. I phoned in person to explain my sob story concerning the bad bad people at Pixmania. No problems said the nice man at the Flat TV Company we have the item in stock and will dispatch it as soon as your order is received online. This was about 2pm Thursday. Apart from the 2 emails confirming payment and dispatch, I also received a phone call at 5.30 pm telling me that the item will be delivered between 2 and 4 pm tomorrow. Friday 1.59 pm, I hear a van door slam and look out the window to see my package being unloaded. I defy anyone to match let alone beat a service like this.
